Canvas - Cocodimama (Alabaster/Receivers) Beach, Eleuthera, Bahamas

from $45.00
Cocodimama Beach, also called “Alabaster Beach” or, as it was known from 1950 to 1980, “Receiver’s Beach” is located on the western coast of the island of Eleuthera and is a quintessential Caribbean beach with soft white sand and shallow water. The beach stretches for more than a mile starting just south of the Governer’s Harbor Airport. The southern edge of the beach is formed by Alabaster Bluff providing protection from southerly winds, another reason why the beach is often calm. Another factor that makes Cocodimama one of the most popular beaches is the many trees the line the beach providing shade for beachgoers.
