The Norther Curly-Tailed Lizard is part of the family of iguanas that’s native to The Bahamas, Cuba and the Cayman Islands. They are omnivores (eats plants and animals) and have often been known to eat other lizards. Their main habitat includes arid and urban forest regions, where there is easy access to rocks to use as shelters and it is also found on beaches where it buries itself in the sand after sunset. Their most notable feature, their curly tail, is used to warn off predators and also indicate when no predators are present.
